Our NGO Partners

Our NGO Partners — ARTEMIS Stray cats in Greece

Our NGO Partners

The people
who do the
real work.
We fund them.

Artemis does not run shelters, perform surgeries, or manage colonies. We do one thing: we build the financial infrastructure that turns the dedication of exhausted, underfunded volunteers into something scalable, documented, and sustained.

Every partner listed here is a vetted, active TNR organization with a licensed veterinarian, at least one mapped colony, and a commitment to full documentation. We don’t partner with vague good intentions. We partner with operational reality.

What our partners receive

What Artemis offers NGOs that no donor ever could.

01

Sterilization funding they wouldn’t have otherwise

Every €49 sponsorship we sell funds a sterilization that would not have happened without us. We don’t take money from their existing pool — we generate money that didn’t exist before. €35 is transferred directly to the partner’s account within 7 days of each sale.

02

Professional documentation — at zero cost

We build their colony maps, GPS archives, photo records, and vet certificate trails. This documentation — which most NGOs lack entirely — strengthens their eligibility for EU grants and municipal contracts they currently can’t access.

03

Visibility across Northern Europe

Their colony, their animals, their work gets seen by thousands of Northern European animal lovers who had never heard of them. That audience becomes a long-term donor pool the NGO can tap independently, beyond Artemis.

04

Near-zero administrative burden

We handle everything facing the sponsor: the website, payments, certificates, email sequences, and follow-ups. Partners do exactly one thing extra — forward a vet certificate photo per sterilization. That’s it. Less than fifteen minutes a month.

Verified. Operational. Documented.

Cats of Lefka Ori operates in the Chania prefecture of Western Crete, managing a colony of dozens of stray cats in the Lefka Ori mountain region. The organization is run by Mary & Martin — volunteers who have been performing TNR operations in this area since 2023, largely self-funded and without institutional support.

They were Artemis’s first partner — selected because they had something rare: an active vet relationship, a mapped colony, and a volunteer contact who responded to our outreach within 48 hours. The first ten sterilizations funded through Artemis were completed in February 2026 and documented with vet certificates.

Their colony includes Grace and Pikachu — the two animals currently featured on the Sponsor page — who are awaiting sterilization as of the launch of this platform.

What they commit to

GPS-mapped colony with photo documentation and monthly animal count
Vet certificate photo delivered within 30 days of each sterilization
Monthly three-sentence colony update with one photo, sent from the field
Immediate notification if sterilization capacity changes

As of February 2026 · New partners onboarding quarterly

We don’t ask NGOs for money, time, or administrative work. We ask them for one GPS pin, one vet certificate per sterilization, and three sentences a month. In return, we generate funded sterilizations that wouldn’t otherwise exist.

— Artemis Partnership Model

The partnership, step by step.

01

You apply

Fill in the form below. We need five things: your organization name, country, a brief description of your TNR program, whether you have an active vet partner, and a contact name. That’s the entire application.

02

We have a 20-minute call

If your application looks like a fit, we’ll schedule a brief call — not to pitch you, but to understand your program, ask about your vet relationship, and confirm you have at least one mapped colony we can feature. Most eligible organizations are confirmed in one call.

03

We sign a one-page agreement

A simple, plain-language document covering what we commit to you (€35 per sterilization, within 7 days of each sale; full marketing and sponsor management; documentation infrastructure) and what you commit to us (vet certificate per sterilization; monthly update; GPS colony data).

04

Your colony goes live on the platform

We feature your organization, your colony, and your animals on the Sponsor page. Sponsors from across Northern Europe begin funding sterilizations. €35 lands in your account within 7 days of each sale. You send us the vet certificate photo within 30 days.

05

We grow together

As the platform scales — more sponsors, more colonies, more countries — your visibility and your sterilization funding scale with it. You focus on the field. We focus on the fundraising. That division of labor is the entire point.

What we look for in a partner

Required

An active TNR program — at least 10 sterilizations per month capacity Required
A licensed veterinarian who can issue a certificate per sterilization Required
At least one GPS-mappable colony with a known animal count Required
A named human contact who checks messages regularly Required
Based in the Mediterranean (Greece, Cyprus, Spain, Italy, Malta, Turkey) Required

Helpful but not required

Existing social media presence or photography Optional
Registered legal status Optional
Prior partnership or grant experience Optional
What disqualifies an application

We do not partner with organizations that primarily focus on rescue and rehoming rather than TNR. We do not partner with organizations that cannot provide vet documentation. We do not partner with organizations that have no active human contact — a dormant Facebook page is not enough. This is not a directory. It is an operational network.

Run a TNR program in the Mediterranean? Let’s talk.

We are actively seeking partners in Crete (outside Chania), Rhodes, Corfu, Lesvos, Cyprus, and Malta. If you are running an active TNR program with a vet partner in place, we want to hear from you. The application takes three minutes.

What we ask of you. Nothing more.

📍 GPS coordinates (appreciated, but not mandatory), a photo, and an animal count for one active colony
📄 A vet certificate photo within 30 days of each sterilization we fund
📱 One monthly update — three sentences and a photo, sent from your phone

    What we give you.

💶 €35 per sterilization, transferred within 7 days of each sponsorship sold
🌍 Visibility to thousands of Northern European sponsors
📊 Professional documentation trail for future grant applications
🤝 Full sponsor management — you never deal with a buyer directly

“We propose starting with a one-month trial: ten sterilizations. If it works for both of us, we expand. If it doesn’t, we part as friends with zero obligation on either side. No long-term commitment. No risk.”

    Behind every sterilization
    is a volunteer working
    at midnight.

Mary & Martin. And others like them, across every island in the Mediterranean. Your €49 is the infrastructure that keeps the vet coming back. Sponsor a sterilization and fund the people doing the real work.

→ Sponsor One Sterilization — €49 One sponsorship. One surgery. Documented and returned to you.
