Who are we?
We are a Swiss association dedicated to helping stray animals in the Mediterranean region.
Why the Mediterranean?
Simply because it is our cradle, and that we carry within us the deep love of this mythical sea which saw the birth of so many civilizations. Its shores bathed in sunshine, its perched white villages, its scents of thyme and salt are as dear to us as the animals we defend.
This Mediterranean that we cherish deserves better than to see its streets littered with suffering animals, its polluted beaches, its endangered wildlife.
If you are, like us, in love with this sea of azure and history, if your heart beats for its landscapes as much as for the dogs and cats who survive there as well as badly, then join us.
Together, we can preserve the beauty of the Mediterranean while offering dignity and compassion to its most vulnerable inhabitants.
Why Artemis?
Simply because Artemis, goddess of the ancient Greek pantheon, had the function of watching over animals.
